We’ve joined forces with the Engineering Leaders Community
At the recent Engineering Leaders Conference, one important announcement stood out. Our founder, Ota Novotny, together with Marian Kamenistak from the Engineering Leaders Community (ELC), publicly introduced a new collaboration that brings together two worlds — the academic and the community-driven.
Our world offers structured and guided education, with a focus on personal transformation and community support as one of the key pillars of our MBA programs. The ELC world brings the energy of regular meetups that respond to current topics, support networking, and allow members to choose their own pace and direction for growth. By combining these two approaches, we’re creating a unique space where structure meets flexibility — giving the entire learning experience a fresh, more dynamic dimension.
Marian Kamenistak is a respected tech leader with rich international experience, including time in Silicon Valley. Alongside Anna Kožuch, he founded the ELC initiative, which aims to bring elements of this inspiring culture to our region. Through the community, Marian has long been dedicated to mentoring developers and helping technical talent grow into confident and effective leaders.
Since our MBA programs share similar goals, it was a natural step to invite Marian to join us as an expert guarantor and lecturer in the MBA IT Management and Business Transformation program.
Marián’s role in teaching IT Leadership in our MBA, however, was just the first step. Since signing a memorandum of cooperation with our Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, we’ve been working on a number of additional joint activities.

For members of our MBA Alumni Club, we’re preparing a special gathering exactly one month later — on May 15, 2025 — at the University of Economics in Prague (VŠE), where both communities will come together for an evening of shared networking.
