Data in Context: How Sectors Turn Data into Decisions

What does working with data actually look like across different industries and what can others learn from it?
At the next Voice of Transformation meetup in MSD Czech Republic, we focus on exactly this perspective. Instead of general frameworks, the event brings concrete, real-world experience: how organizations approach data, which processes truly work, and where they hit practical limits.
The evening will open with a series of short, focused lightning talks from across sectors from pharma and banking to consulting and telecommunications. Among the speakers are Čeněk Polívka (MSD), Jiří Kacerovský (Komerční banka), Martin Matějka (KPMG), and Adéla Ráčková (T-Mobile). Each of them will focus on one specific problem they solve with data and share the approaches, tools, or practices that proved effective in their context.
These inputs will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Ota Novotný, connecting the individual perspectives and exploring common patterns across industries. This is often where the most valuable insights emerge, when similar challenges surface across sectors, but are tackled in different ways.
The meetup is designed for anyone interested in data, who wants to better understand how data is turned into decisions and how this process can be improved in practice.
The event is free to attend, and you can register via the link here.
The event is part of the broader Data & Business platform at VŠE, reflected also in its MBA programs focused on connecting data, technology, and business decision-making in real-world contexts.
